OLD VINEYARD - NEW STYLE
Situated in the famous wine district of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, Blueberry Hill Vineyard is a long established vineyard which was part of the old McPherson Estate. Grapes from the well established vines produce wonderful characteristics in the wine.
Six grape varieties are grown on Blueberry Hill - Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. In past years most have been sold to local winemakers for inclusion in wines under other labels, some of which have won international awards.
Current stocks
2002 Blanc de Noir (methode champenoise): Delicate sparkling Pinot style made as Blanc de Noir. Elegant floral and citrus palate, long and refreshing. Price: $45 per bottle.
2008 Chardonnay: A nose of ripe peaches and melons gives way to a complex palate of ripe fruit flavours and spicy vanillin oak. This wine was lightly oaked in new French oak barrels for two months only. Price: $25 per bottle.
2008 Sauvignon Blanc: The nose displays lovely gooseberry, passionfruit and lemongrass characteristics. The palate is crisp and refreshing with beautiful tropical fruit flavours and a lingering finish. Price: $25 per bottle.
2008 Rose (Pinot Noir): Lovely strawberry, cherry and toffee apple characteristics, soft and fruity. Price: $30 per bottle.
2006 Shiraz: This beautiful wine comes from the unirrigated Shiraz vineyard at Blueberry Hill. Its complex nose displays ripe fruit flavours of blackberry and plum. The palate is that of a classic Hunter Shiraz. Price: $35 per bottle.
2007 Pinot Noir: Made from 100% estate grown grapes from the ageing vines on the Western slopes of Blueberry Hill. Plum and spice characteristics with strawberry fruit flavours enhanced by fine grained tannins. Price: $35 per bottle
2006 Port de Noir: A very flavoursome and unusual port wine made from our Pinot Noir grapes. Price: $32 per bottle

For the Connoisseur
Blueberry Hill's Wine Club is known as the Connoisseur Club and we would like you to become a member.
There is no fee for Connoisseur membership. All that is required is that you purchase a six bottle tasting case twice each year for the club price of $120 per case. Contained in these cases will be a selection of available wines including all new releases. Preferences can be accommodated, e.g. al whites, all reds, single variety etc. Please let us know of these when sending the Registration Form.
Despatches of the tasting cases will be at the end of April and October each year.
Having tasted the wines, further stocks can be ordered by phone, fax, mail or email (minimum order six bottles) at member special prices ($3.00 per bottle discount off the Cellar Door prices).
Other benefits to members are:

- Member private tastings (along with guests) by candlelight in the underground cellar (preferably after 5pm - perhaps before dinner)

Liquor Act 1982
It is an offence to sell or supply to or to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.
We therefore seek your co-operation in providing your date of birth in the space provided in the order form. This is required on your first order only after 1 July 2002 as it will be recorded in our files for subsequent orders.
The courier delivering the wine will be advised that in accordance with the Liquor Act your order must be delivered:
- to you, the adult person who placed the order
- to another adult person at the same address who undertakes to accept the order on your behalf
- in accordance with your specific instructions.
